I practice yoga because it grounds me. It’s the only thing I’ve found that allows me to both push and accept myself at the same time. I’ve learned amazing life lessons through my physical practice – it’s taught me so much about how I relate to people and how to stay open in any situation. It has also been a direct path for me to find my community no matter what city I live in.  I teach because I want to create a space for everyone to have those same experiences and appreciate where we all are in this moment. I am entirely committed to supporting endeavors that will contribute to the awesomeness of Portland, Maine. Teaching in a space that encourages everyone to live authentically is the best way I know how to do that.
I completed Level One: Journey Into Power with Baron Baptiste in 2012 and Art of Assisting in Baptiste Yoga in 2013. I have studied with and attended trainings conducted by Seane Corn, Bryan Kest, David Magone, and Richard Llanza, along with many others in several cities across the country.
Outside of my yoga life: I train to run several half-marathons and road races every year. I am the General Manager of a business that helps our clients build inspiring workspaces and love supporting the small business and startup community because I believe innovation is the key to our growth. I can usually be found spending every moment possible with my very precocious, joyful, challenging and ultimately cool daughter.
