Drawing on multiple massage styles and healing modalities, I have developed a unique
type of treatment known as Range of Motion Myofascial Release. Using acute listening skills honed through craniosacral therapy and Barnes-style myofascial technique along with passive range of motion and an ever-growing understanding of the physical and energetic landscape of the body, I am able to facilitate a broad depth of healing during each session. Range of Motion Myofascial Release is highly beneficial in treating many conditions, including (but not limited to) musculoskeletal disorders, chronic holding patterns, acute conditions, motor vehicle and sports injuries, pre and post-natal symptoms, stress, and emotional and physical trauma. Tailoring every treatment specifically towards how an individual is presenting at any given time allows us reach the fullest potential within each session.
I recently graduated with dual Master of Science degrees in Oriental Medicine and Nutrition from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. I am excited to begin my acupuncture and Chinese medicine practice upon completion of licensure. This deepening knowledge of how the energetic and physical selves intertwine allows seamless incorporation of various modalities into my massage practice such as acupressure, cupping, gua sha, essential oils, non-insertion point stimulation.
I completed my massage training in New York City at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2010, and currently hold licensure through the State of Maine as well as nationally through NCBTMB. Since then, I have worked at premier healing centers and award-winning clinics in NY, OR, CO and ME.
I moved with my wife, two daughters and kitty cat to Maine last Spring to be closer to family, and we are very excited to be living in and exploring this wonderful part of the world.
